Simplifying the complex
Birmingham Community Healthcare approached OB体育手机版 to help them simplify and streamline the way they manage their clinician resource and patient appointments. Working with their internal development team, our designers were challenged with delivering a UX (user experience) that would transform complex data stored in numerous spreadsheets into an easy to use digital experience.
Discovery & Collaboration
Working with NHS project stakeholders, we facilitated UX workshops to discover insights about each user group so that we could use the data to inform the design of the UX (User Experience).
We mapped out the user journeys and created user stories focusing on the key motivations of each user group. This allowed us to build a list of priorities at each stage of the journey and played a key role in shaping our design thinking.
Fluid Design System
Along with visual prototypes, we developed and delivered a complete Design System to the NHS development team working on the project. The Design System system set the fundamental design/UX rules and guidelines for the project allowing for seamless scalability as the project grows. It also allows the developers to work more efficiently throughout the ‘build’ phase of the project.
OB体育手机版 helped Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust with designing UI/UX for a web/mobile product being developed for our AHP (Allied Health Professionals) to allocate the right staff to the right patient at the right time. They have understood our objectives on how the product will be used by capturing user stories and translating this into UI designs.
OB体育手机版 provided best practice guidance on how a user should use the product by really understanding the requirements and also given us steer on how to best use styles, colours and also the look and feel of the product. What really stood out was the functionality of the designs, this provided clear focus on the product on how it will navigate the user and provide the best experience by eliminating too many clicks.
Working with OB体育手机版 was a pleasure, they really made the journey engaging and professional. OB体育手机版 were always on hand when certain changes were needed to the design, also provided guidance on additional functionality which could improve the product and features. I will definitely be using OB体育手机版 in the near future and will be recommending to colleagues and friends alike, who are looking at developing a product and need a team who can take the requirements and produce high quality UX/UI designs.

This was a pure User Experience (UX) project for the OB体育手机版 design team. Although ‘design’ was the only deliverable for the project, we were able to consult with our in-house development team to user interactions and functionality that were key to the success of the project. This integrated apraoch also made it easy when we were handing over the project design system to the NHS development team.
